Birth place – Calgary, Alberta.

Favourite time of day – The wee hours.  Either getting up or just getting to bed.

Favourite movie – It changes weekly depending on season and mood and what’s available on the interweb.

Favourite actor/actress –  Vanessa Redgrave.  I would watch her read a phone book.

Favourite writers – Harper Lee, Toni Morrison, Jeffrey Eugenides, David Adams Richards, and Audrey Niffanegger ... oh and Wally Lamb.  I could go on.

Favourite song – … almost anything by John Bucchino or Johnny Mercer.

Favourite TV show – Just one?  I love TV.  From Mary Tyler Moore to The Wire to Bumper Stumpers re-runs on youtube to The Good Wife.

Favourite food – Holiday or party left-overs late at night when everyone is gone and only the stove light is on.

With whom would you like to have dinner – My parents grandparents when they were young and dreaming of a whole new life.

Favourite fragrance – Habit Rouge, peach pie, barns with horses.

Least favourite trait in others – Spitting and of course intolerance.

Define happiness – Falling asleep on the sofa to the sound of my dog snoring.

Greatest fear – War and drowning.

Do you lie – Yes.  When saying “I’m not nervous” at parties.

Your most overused phrase – “I'm fine.”

Regrets –Times I was timid and didn't need to be.

Happiest place and time – Summers on the property my parents had in Montana.

Have you had any plastic surgery – No, this is all from glycolic creams and retinol eye gel.

Your most treasured possession – A heart that still falls in love.

Tattoo(s) – On my ankle.  It’s Mickey Mouse.  Don’t know if I would get the same tattoo now, all these years later, but I guess that’s the point.

Favourite quality in a man – Emotional intelligence.

Favourite quality in a woman – Humour.
